BE GLAD
Verse 1
Give thanks to the Lord
His love endures forever
Give praise to the Lord
beside Him there's no other (repeat)
Chorus 1
This is the day the Lord has made,
I will rejoice and be glad in it
This is the day the Lord has made,
I will rejoice and be glad in it
He brought us from mourning to dancing,
from glory to glory
This is the day the Lord has made
So what are we waiting for?
Come on and praise the Lord!
Verse 2
Hear the word of the Lord
there's freedom for the captives
Good news to the
poor and beauty for the ashes
So what are we waiting for?
What are we waiting for? (to chorus 1)
Bridge
I live I live to tell what the Lord has done,
I live to sing of my Savior's love
I live because He is risen, la la la la la la la (repeat)
Chorus 2
This is the day the Lord has made,
I will rejoice and be glad in it
This is the day the Lord has made,
I will rejoice and be glad in it
This is the day the Lord has made,
I will rejoice and be glad in it
This is the day the Lord has made,
I will rejoice and be glad in it
He brought us from mourning to dancing,
from glory to glory
From mourning to dancing,
from glory to glory
From mourning to dancing,
from glory to glory
This is the day the Lord has made
So what are we waiting for?
Come on and praise the Lord!
What are we waiting for?
Come on and praise the Lord! Oh praise the Lord

PRAISE
Verse 1
I’ll praise in the valley,
praise on the mountain
I’ll praise when I’m sure,
praise when I’m doubting
I’ll praise when outnumbered,
praise when surrounded
'Cause praise is the water
my enemies drown in
As long as I’m breathing,
I’ve got a reason to
Chorus 1
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!
Verse 2
I’ll praise when I feel it,
I’ll praise when I don’t
I’ll praise 'cause I know
You’re still in control
'Cause my praise is a weapon
it’s more than a sound
My praise is the shout
that brings Jericho down
As long as I’m breathing,
I’ve got a reason to
Chorus 2
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!
I won’t be quiet, my God is alive,
how could I keep it inside?
Praise the Lord oh my soul
Bridge
I’ll praise 'cause You’re sovereign,
praise 'cause You reign
Praise 'cause You rose
and defeated the grave
I’ll praise 'cause You’re faithful,
praise 'cause You’re true
Praise 'cause there’s nobody
greater than You
Chorus 3
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!
I won’t be quiet, my God is alive,
how could I keep it inside?
I won’t be quiet, my God is alive,
how could I keep it inside?
I won’t be quiet, my God is alive,
how could I keep it inside?
Praise the Lord, oh my soul!

HIS GLORY AND MY GOOD
Verse 1
I have seen my Father’s glory,
revealed in Jesus Christ
And the more that I behold Him,
the more He satisfies
When I gaze upon His beauty,
when I see Him as I should
Then my eyes are lifted upward
for His glory and my good
Verse 2
There is hope in every trial,
for I can trust the Lord
He will turn my heart towards Him,
and help me bear the thorn
So in faith I follow Jesus,
on the road not understood
For I know that He is working
for His glory and my good
Chorus
To our God be the glory,
to our God be praise
He alone, the name above all names
I will boast ever only in the Lord my God
For I know, His glory is my good
Verse 3
See the open arms of Jesus
upon the cross that day
What they understood as weakness
deserves my every praise
For the charge that was against me,
it was nailed into the wood
Yes I know that He has saved me
for His glory and my good (to chorus)
Verse 4
Would I gladly be made nothing
that Christ would be made more?
Would I seek the only kingdom
that far outweighs them all?
I will stand before my Father
where the faithful saints have stood
And with joy my heart shall praise Him,
for His glory and my good
And with joy my heart shall praise Him,
for His glory and my good (to chorus)

AS THE DEER
Verse 1
As the deer panteth for the water
So my soul longeth after You
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship You
Chorus
You alone are my strength my shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart's desire
and I long to worship You
Verse 2
You're my friend and You are my brother
even though You are a King
I love You more than any other,
so much more than anything (to chorus)

SAMUEL’S CALL
1 Samuel 3:1-4:1a
1The boy Samuel served the Lord in Eli’s presence. In those days the word of the Lord was rare and prophetic visions were not widespread.
2One day Eli, whose eyesight was failing, was lying in his usual place. 3Before the lamp of God had gone out, Samuel was lying down in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was located.
4Then the Lord called Samuel, and he answered, “Here I am.” 5He ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
“I didn’t call,” Eli replied. “Go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down.
6Once again the Lord called, “Samuel!”
Samuel got up, went to Eli, and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
“I didn’t call, my son,” he replied. “Go back and lie down.”
7Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, because the word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. 8Once again, for the third time, the Lord called Samuel. He got up, went to Eli, and said, “Here I am; you called me.”
Then Eli understood that the Lord was calling the boy. 9He told Samuel, “Go and lie down. If he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10The Lord came, stood there, and called as before, “Samuel, Samuel!”
Samuel responded, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
11The Lord said to Samuel, “I am about to do something in Israel that will cause everyone who hears about it to shudder. 12On that day I will carry out against Eli everything I said about his family, from beginning to end. 13I told him that I am going to judge his family forever because of the iniquity he knows about: his sons are cursing God, and he has not stopped them. 14Therefore, I have sworn to Eli’s family: The iniquity of Eli’s family will never be wiped out by either sacrifice or offering.”
15Samuel lay down until the morning; then he opened the doors of the Lord’s house. He was afraid to tell Eli the vision, 16but Eli called him and said, “Samuel, my son.”
“Here I am,” answered Samuel.
17“What was the message he gave you?” Eli asked. “Don’t hide it from me. May God punish you and do so severely if you hide anything from me that he told you.” 18So Samuel told him everything and did not hide anything from him. Eli responded, “He is the Lord. Let him do what he thinks is good.”
19Samuel grew. The Lord was with him, and he fulfilled everything Samuel prophesied. 20All Israel from Dan to Beer-sheba knew that Samuel was a confirmed prophet of the Lord. 21The Lord continued to appear in Shiloh, because there he revealed himself to Samuel by his word.
4:1And Samuel’s words came to all Israel.
THANK YOU JESUS FOR THE BLOOD
Verse 1
I was a wretch,
I remember who I was
I was lost, I was blind,
I was running out of time
Sin separated,
the breach was far too wide
But from the far side of the chasm,
You had me in Your sight
Verse 2
So You made a way
across the great divide
Left behind Heaven's throne
to build it here inside
There at the cross,
You paid the debt I owed
Broke my chains,
freed my soul, for the first time I had hope
Chorus
Thank You Jesus for the blood applied
Thank You Jesus, it has washed me white
Thank You Jesus, You have saved my life
Brought me from the darkness into glorious light
Verse 3
You took my place,
laid inside my tomb of sin
You were buried for three days,
but then You walked right out again
And now death has no sting
and life has no end
For I have been transformed
by the blood of the Lamb (to chorus)
Bridge
There is nothing stronger
than the wonder working power
Of the blood, the blood
That calls us sons and daughters,
we are ransomed by our Father
Through the blood, the blood (repeat) (to chorus)
