saturday seminar: The dead sea scrolls & the bible

Dr. Michael Wise, long-time professor at Northwestern College and a leading authority on the Dead Sea Scrolls, will help us understand their origin, content, and relationship to the Word of God we believe in and live by. His presentation will be followed by a seven-session course, taught by Pastor Charlie, entitled, "The Trustworthiness & Truthfulness of the Bible."

Fierce: Women of the Bible Who Changed the World
The word fierce is trendy. It is used to describe women who are extreme athletes, high-level executives, or supermodels. Women at the top of their game. But what about the rest of us? Can we be fierce? Absolutely! In fact, women like us have been changing the world for thousands of years—many who received little fanfare yet lived fiercely anyway. In this seven-week study we will look at lesser-known female characters in the Bible and the ways they changed the world by living into God’s calling.

Living Like You Belong to God
Can Others See That You Belong to God? God calls us to a life of joy, obedience, and trust. He calls us to be different from those around us. He calls us to be holy. In this rich study, you will discover that holiness is not an arbitrary standard within today's church or an unreachable goal of sinless perfection. Holiness is about pleasing God--living in such a way that it's clear you belong to Him. Holiness is what makes you unique as a believer in Jesus Christ. Come explore the beauty of holy living and see why true holiness and true happiness always go together.

lADIES' pUMPKIN CRAFT NIGHT
Thursday, September 24 | 6:30 pm
All ladies (teens on up) are invited to an evening of fun and fellowship as we create a DIY Pumpkin Craft made with fabric. We'll share tasty fall-themed treats and a devotional as well. Please register by Sept 21 so we know how many will be attending.

PlayCo
Every other Friday during the school year; select Friday playdates (Popsicles and Play) during the summer
PlayCo is a play group designed to connect moms while their littles play! All ages are welcome, though play will be geared for infants through elementary. This group meets off-site. Sign up for reminders and schedule updates!

Thursday crew
Help prep the exterior and interior of the building and tent so that we are ready for church services on Sundays! This will generally include light cleaning and trimming/pruning. Click the button for more details!
